Saint Juliana of Lazarevo is a saint venerated by many Orthodox, as she constitutes a beacon of Faith in the darkness of spiritual and physical winter. She lived through devastating pandemics and decimating hunger caused by volcanic eruptions in Peru.
She lived in the area of Murom. Murom is relatively well known amongst Russians, as it is the birthplace of Ilya Muromets, a heroic knight of folklore.
"Saint Juliana of Lazarevo" is "Paterikon for Kids" #104!
