About our ministry

Potamitis Publishing—Orthodox Children's Books is the first Orthodox Christian publishing ministry to publish exclusively for Orthodox Christian children. Since December 17, 2007, our family has published dogmatically correct, stunningly beautiful, and intriguing books, posters, and stickers for Orthodox Children around the blessed Globe!

As of December 2025, Potamitis Publishing – Orthodox Children's Books has published more than 222 new books in English; we have also translated and published more than 222 of them in Greek. More than seventy have been translated and published in Romanian, dozens more in Russian, and fourteen other languages!

Egle-Ekaterine Potamitis designed every image, map, and drawing in our books by hand.

We have never printed in communist China and, God willing, never will!

We print in Saint Demetrios's hometown, Thessaloniki, Greece; Lincoln, Nebraska, USA; and Sesklo, the oldest settlement in Europe.

For orders of US$300 or more in retail non-discounted prices, use the discount code WHOLESALE-USA-30 to apply a 30% discount.

For orders of US$180 or more in retail non-discounted prices, use discount code WHOLESALE-USA-15 to apply a 15% discount.

For orders of US$100 or more in retail non-discounted prices, use the discount code WHOLESALE-USA-10 to apply a 10% discount.

Payment processing fees are high. We keep our prices at the 2010 level. Due to high card processing fees, we recommend paying by check. For USA Wholesale orders, select CHECK as the payment option to receive an extra 3% discount. Only pay by card when checks are unavailable or when in a hurry, then please consider adding 5%.

Understandably, wholesale discount codes cannot be applied to Value Packages or special offers.

Due to a substantial number of cases of fraudgetfulness, we no longer ship until we have received payment, either by check or by card. If you have ordered for your parish or for yourself in the past, please ensure the books you ordered and received have been paid for.

Return & Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return.

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with an unbroken back, and in its original packaging to be eligible for a return. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please get in touch with us at dionysios@potamitis.us. We’ll send you a return shipping label when your return is accepted. We cannot receive items sent back to us without first requesting a return.

You can always contact us for any return questions at dionysios@potamitis.us.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong book, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded through your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and display the refund.

We know how cumbersome it can be to cancel or amend a subscription.
